What’s a meal you could eat once a week forever?
Rachel Caggiano: Zuni Cafe Chicken with Bread Salad (Judy Roger’s recipe adapted by nytcooking is my go-to)
Anna Cave: Breakfast tacos for some Texan childhood nostalgia - potato, egg, bacon, and cheese in a flour tortilla, please.
Coffee or tea order, no explanation.
RC: Hot, black Americano
AC: Cold brew, regular milk, no sugar
What’s a snack you pretend is “for guests” but is actually just for you?
RC: Potato chips (ideally in the form of chip mountain)
AC: Taralli crackers! Chic for guests, but even more special solo
Your ideal solo dinner at home looks like…?
RC: Cheese & crackers and Chablis Premier Cru
AC: A baked potato with plenty of butter, sour cream, and chives. A glass of chilled red on the side.
