I’m keeping it simple this week with three favorites I have already used and enjoyed this morning…
Trader Joe’s Cold Brew Coffee Bags. TJ’s in no way needs my promotion, but these little bags of caffeinated goodness are my current morning go-to. All it takes is popping two of them into a large pitcher (or in my case repurposed Le Creuset Batter Bowl), pouring over the 7 cups of cold water as instructed and popping it in the fridge the night before you need it. The next day you discard the bags et voila you’ve got a big ol’ pitcher of cold brew at the ready to enjoy over the next few days. Effort not required.
Rael Beauty Miracle Patch. Shoutout to Gen Z for making pimple patches part of their aesthetic. I see you and I love you. But if you’re looking for something a little less flashy than a neon star but also incredibly effective, these are my favorite. They are widely available online, at CVS, or even Broome St. General if you’re a LA local (that’s where I got mine) and the sweating brought on by the current heatwave has made them a necessity.
Flamingo Estate’s Roma Heirloom Tomato Candle. The first time I smelled this herbaceous beauty, it was part of a gift from my friend Katie (thanks, girlie!) and it blew my mind. I promise it doesn’t smell like spaghetti sauce. It’s verdant and fresh, even a little peppery just like the stem of a beautifully ripe peak-season tomato. Now a repeat purchase, it feels especially appropriate for slow summer weekend mornings of sipping cold brew and listening to tunes while letting a pimple patch work its magic.
